Enter the maximum size you need. PixelsToKB searches for a result as close as practical while keeping the output at or below your target. Encoder behavior varies by image, so an exact byte count cannot be guaranteed.
Are my images uploaded?
No. The image is read and compressed inside your browser. Your files never leave your device during compression.
Which formats can I use?
You can select JPG, PNG, or WebP files. Images that need compression are saved as JPG. PNG transparency is placed on a white background. Files already below the target keep their original format.
Will reducing the size affect image quality?
Usually. Smaller file limits can require lower JPEG quality or smaller dimensions. Try the largest file size your form allows for the best result.
